The resort of Hua Hin
Hua Hin resort is one of the oldest tourist destinations in Thailand. It is situated nearly 200 km from Bangkok. It was discovered by Rama VII in the 1920s and since then it has served as a great holiday spot.
Hua Hin combines the elements of a former fishing village with those of a fashionable resort. The beach at Hua Hin is rather long (it stretches for over 5 miles) and covered with white and soft sand. In translation from Thai the name Hua Hin means “head of rocks” that’s why there’s no surprise why there are many rocks on the beach. This region is a popular golf destination. There is the widest density of golf fields than in any other part of Thailand.
Among the main attractions of Hua Hin are stunning waterfalls, caves and peaks. If you are fond of shopping this place is a paradise for you.
