To the south of Phuket there is a group of deserted island. But there are some exceptions such as Coral Island and Raya Island (or Racha Island). Coral island is owned by the Coral Island Resort. The island offer tourists such activities as sunbathing on white sandy beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving, banana riding, parasailing. You don’t need to swim too far to see colourful fish in the reefs. You will find numerous souvenir shops, cafes and cosy restaurants along the coast. As for Raya Island it has three main resorts. The island is considered to be the main destination of those who are fond of yachting and diving.

The beauty of island will help you to get away from routine. The major entertainments are again snorkeling, mountain biking, fishing and horse-back riding, but you’ll have to fork out for it.

You won’t find a restaurant on the island that serves pork. Be ready for that.
